Optimisation through technology
AMF has invested in the latest version of an Oracle based ERP system. It is a sixth generation Production Control Software which allows AMF to improve time management and cost control. It embraces all the functions of our business to ensure better and more integrated management and to enable us to be more responsive to customer requirements.
Enterprise Data Interchange (EDI) is a part of the software which we use as one more tool to assist AMF’s customer support strategy and to automate and synchronise our mutual business processes. This results in:
- more accurate advance planning based on customers changing needs
- reduced waste in manufacturing, paperwork and management time
